Summer Days on The Bay
In Summer there is always something to do when the sun shines (or when it doesn’t) – this week (plus) of sunny weather has been exceptional and it isnt set to stop!
Check out what you can do when the sun is shining – just don’t forget the sunscreen and to check the tide times – remember all the activities below don’t need a car, taxi, bus or train – they are all a short walk away!
The Beach
The beach is amazing at The Bay – direct beach access midway along the 5 miles of sandy beach you can find:
World War 2 relics – whether a gun emplacement or a pill box there are lots to see along the coast and near the bay beach access

Walks to Filey – a stroll away is the town of Filey – see our page about the coast and Filey in particular
Cafes and more – there are 2 great beach cafe’s from The Bay beach access point – head south along the beach and explore!
