Bella’s retreat stayed earlier in the year when it was dry and warm was lovely but no extras spoke to admin said we were one of the first to stay so to be expected. Came back it was raining the road is terrible our car was covered in the yellow clay if that what it is our shoes the dogs paws all trodden into the house no indoor mat to protect the floors. Still no extras very disappointed just a small amount of washing up liquid nothing to clean the sides no cleaning products very disappointed stayed in other properties that are over flowing with extras from cleaning, cooking condiments. Glad the price was reasonable otherwise get your finger out Bella’s retreat look after your guest with some extras not even a pen never mind a visitors book!!!!!

Lovely place great stay @Avenue Victoria, however the couch isn't very supportive for bad backs and the lounge door is a fire hazard for people who have difficulty gripping, The TV could do with repositioning as the reflections from the windows can be annoying at times (Yes I know you don't go on holiday to watch TV!) We’ve just had a wonderful holiday at The Filey House at The Bay. All  of the home from home comforts  they provide really make you feel welcome. The house was very clean and the beds comfortable which is always a bonus.
We used the pool and the onsite pub. The beach is easily accessible from your lodge which made it even better for us. Nearby you’ve got beautiful places to visit like Flamborough Head and Bridlington

I came across Anchor Bay Holidays on Facebook and found a break at The Bay, Filey - where I had been before - lovely place. I booked for 4 nights in November - really good price. A few weeks later, I had to either change or cancel the booking, for a medical reason. I contacted ABH and Anthony couldn't have been more helpful or nice. We agreed to move the date back one week and he sorted out the admin, including changing the cancellation insurance, without any hassle. What great service!
Just got back from a really nice few days, in spite of the winter storm. Won't hesitate to contact ABH next time 😊

UPDATE 1 YEAR LATER
Just been back again and stayed in the Lobster Pot Beach House. What a lovely property. Has everything you could possibly need on a self catering break. Really nicely done.

The Bay holiday park was so peaceful and clean I couldn’t quite believe it was real and the clever mix of architectural styles make it utterly charming , added to that the fact that there are so few cars on the roads it is one of the most relaxing places I have ever stayed. A fantastic place to take the dog for beach walks The property we stayed in was spotless and was equipped with everything you might need . My only problem was that the mattress was very firm so personally I would have to bring a mattress topper for a return visit .

The accommodation was super, very clean and well equipped. The site/holiday village was well kept with a small shop and pub, and a steep path leading to the beach. Very dog friendly site.The only downside for me was; AB holidays seemed to constantly message during our stay. Telling me when I had to leave, how to clean the house on departure, what to do with the key during our stay etc.

Stayed at Sunset Lodge on The Bay in Filey - it was a lovely lodge for 4 people - facilities and equipment is the best I have seen - very tastefully decorated and we all enjoyed our stay - used the local bus to go to Scarborough and Bridlington and Filey ( lovely little place ) - wouldn't hesitate to recommend

☺The Bay at Filey is a very well designed holiday village. Great street scene. If only house developers could put so much care into the design! 
Nice modern cottage style property, nicely equipped. Parking available fairly close by. My dogs were welcome to stay and it’s easy to walk them in the village area. Swimming pool 5 minutes walk away, indoors, decent temperature! Would we go back? Definitely!

☹No complaints at all. A small secure private patio area would be nice, but then the expansive grounds would not be as tidy. All very well maintained by the estate.

 Verified Property as described, everything clean and tidy, kitchen well equipped. Small issue with the plug in the bath which was reported in the afternoon and fixed the following morning. The village itself is lovely and tidy, however the pub is very expensive, however there are good options closeby. We would highly recommend the white swan in Hunmamby.
