Blue Opal Retreat is a delightful coastal retreat (with hot tub) situated near the beach and golf course in Bridlington, East Riding of Yorkshire. Blue Opal Retreat is a NEW build property with access to communal play ground and football pitch.

With off-road parking for two cars (EV charger at additional cost), an enclosed garden, LARGE HOT TUB (additional cost) and welcoming two well-behaved dogs, this charming home is perfect for families or couples seeking a seaside escape filled with relaxation and adventure.
Upon entering the property, you'll be greeted by a spacious kitchen/diner, fully equipped for all your culinary needs. Here, you can gather around the dining table and enjoy home-cooked meals, sharing stories of the day's adventures.
Adjacent to the kitchen, the large sitting room offers an inviting space to unwind, featuring a Large Smart TV and lovely large sofa - perfect for those lazy evenings in.
French doors lead out to the enclosed garden, where you can enjoy a spot of alfresco dining on the patio, complete with furniture and a brick barbecue (bring disposables) for those warm summer evenings.
For an extra fee (the hot tub is not included in the rental price) you can use the amazing hot tub - enjoy a long soak after a day on the beach - relax under the stars or under the all weather cover!
Hot Tub Notes
-The fee for the hot tub is based on a short stay of 3 or 4 nights.
-This must be booked in advance - we may not be able to accommodate this at short notice (<3 days) but will confirm on booking
-For stays of 7 nights or more you will need to select TWO hot tub bookings otherwise the hot tub will only be available for the first 3 or 4 nights. This is to cover the additional costs of changing the water and in effect having to provide 2 hot tub services for the duration of the stay.
-The hot tub is not available on stays of less than 3 nights
-It is usually only available for arrival / provision on a Friday or Monday.
-At certain times of the year - mainly XMAS then the hot tub may not be available on Mondays or Fridays and we will advise you of seasonal variations.
Upstairs, the double bedroom benefits from a SMART TV, an en-suite with a walk-in shower, basin and WC, offering a private space to freshen up.
There is a further double room, complete with SMART TV
There is also a cosy twin bedroom with full size single beds (bunk style)
A family bathroom, featuring a bath with a shower-over, serves these rooms along with a handy cloakroom which completes the interior of this charming coastal retreat.

We send comprehensive arrival information after you book and 3 weeks, 1 week and 1 day prior to arrival (by email and SMS). These messages include links to a complimentary “Touchstay” digital guidebook which includes property specific details and important information which you will need whilst on holiday.
We also include in our messaging how to access the property (typically a key-safe), directions, parking information as well as information about the local area, beaches and tide times.
For most properties options of an early check in / late check out are available but these are subject to availability (ie not last minute and at peak times). These options are a chargeable extra and can be purchased when you place a booking or added nearer to your stay via our guest management area. In order to avoid disappointment early check in / late check outs can only be facilitated via these extra options and if they don’t appear during the booking process are not available for this property.

Review - We loved the house it had everything you needed and was very well thought out ! I booked the house very last minute as we had booked accommodation else were for a 3 night stay and on arrival it was clear the place wasn't fit for purpose so we looked for somewhere else to stay and found the blue opal retreat on booking.com . I booked the house for 3 nights with half an hour to go before it's 4pm check in time, which is extremely short notice ! The staff did not disappoint Anthony phoned me a few minutes after the booking went through to make sure we had everything that we needed ie the key code to entire the property all directions and to explain that due to the booking been so last minute that the hot tub wouldn't be ready for use on the first night however he did get in touch with the hot tub guy who came out at 8am the next day and got the hot tub ready for us to use the following day which was much appreciated after a 14 mile cliff walk we were ready to relax in later that evening! Housekeeping also dropped our hot tub towels off also on the Saturday morning while we were out . The whole experience was brilliant! Long my it continue! All staff were absolutely brilliant! I would not hesitate to book here again ! Well managed clean location its brilliant has everything you need on your door step beach a short walk away local shops also plenty of supermarkets close buy too there's a local pub also the lobrster pot great food lovely amphitheatre. The house over looks a grassed area which has lots of wildlife such as dear owls ect we were looking enough to see them . There is a train track that runs through the grassed area to the front of the house that you can here but this didn't disturb our sleep and we had the window open . The house is very clean and well equipment from everything you need in the kitchen right up to the bathrooms .
