Our Story
As a long standing owner on The Bay and frustrated by quality alternatives to the mass market agents, we wanted to provide a high quality, high value holiday experience for guests and for owners alike.
Anchor Bay Holidays is the largest and fastest growing independent owner led agent on The Bay offering holidays to thousands of guests per year many of who come back several times per year.
We now have well over 75 properties (representing nearly 20% of the privately owned village properties) in all locations across the village. All properties have been picked by us so we ensure you have a great holiday and we have something for everyone’s family and budget.
We set minimum standards (including decorating, inventory and equipment) for our properties checking them at least every month against a 40 point check list to ensure the property is up standard so you have a great holiday!
As owners on The Bay since 2013, we know what makes a great holiday – holding Airbnb Superhost status and Premier host status on VRBO as well as listing on 5 other channels (always book direct for the best rates). We know the village and the local area extremely well, have links to local restaurants and attractions and above everything, we pride ourselves on our customer service, communication and property standards.
We have an amazing record of customer service, an exceptional housekeeping team and local property managers who are on hand 24/7 if you encounter any problems during your stay. We have access to local tradesmen and woman as well as plumbers and electricians should the unexpected happen. We are onsite every week and we love meeting guests and would love you to stop us and say hello!
When not booking holidays for people Anthony likes to undertake all kind of repairs for “Leeds Repair Cafe” (an organisation offering free repairs and recycling to support the local community), whilst Kirstie is a full time “Dance Mum”!

We’ve forged partnerships with Affiliate Future which is one of UK’s leading affiliate networks to bring life to our affiliate programs.
For each booking you generate via a unique code then we will pay you a fixed fee.
All you need is an affiliate account on affiliate future, sign up to our program(s), get your unique tracking link from us and away you go. Each sale generated from your unique tracking link, we will reward you with a fixed fee.
Tassimo Coffee and Cool Drinks
All of our properties include a Tassimo drinks machine for you to use.
You can bring your own pods / discs which are available from most supermarkets and choose from Costa, Kenco, Cadbury and other favourite brand drinks!
Beach Bag and Gift
We also give you a cooler bag (or beach bag) and a sweet seaside treat (subject to availability) so keep an eye out when you arrive and use these / take them home with you as a memento (or leave for the next guests in order to recycle)!
Charity Donations
Anchor Bay Holidays offer the opportunity for all our guests to donate to the Filey RNLI (through our booking system) as well as Anchor Bay Holidays donating annual contributions to this amazing and vital local charity.
As an agent for individual owners who live all across the country, we are sadly unable to provide “free holidays” or sponsorship to organisations wanting prizes for raffle draws etc as the owners often give away holidays to local schools and charities where they are based.
