Welcome to High Tide Cottage - part of the Bay Filey Holiday Village it is ideal for couples or a growing family with children.
This immaculate cottage is ideal for a family holiday with lots of space for a growing family.
Enter into the airy hallway with storage for all your essentials and access to the downstairs cloak / WC.
Walk through into the large open plan L shaped lounge with corner sofa, SMART TV, dining room (sits 4) and fully fitted kitchen including dishwasher, washing machine etc.
Upstairs the property comprises of 1 double bedroom and 1 twin bedroom with a large family bathroom complete with bath and overhead rainfall shower.
Off the lounge area are French doors open onto a private furnished patio with BBQ, surrounded by large, shared garden and landscaped grounds and direct access to one of the many Boules courts at The Bay.
Travel Cot and High Chair are available for use free of charge (own bedding required).
We leave a few games for our guests to use. This warm and cosy house is ideal for breaks all year round.

This property is part of The Bay Holiday Village and all bookings gain direct beach access, unlimited use of The Bay Filey Indoor Pool, Baby Pool, Sauna, Steam Room and Gym. Some amenities are chargeable locally like food and drink, tennis and any activities operated by Away Resorts such as Archery and Crafts.

This is the first time we have stayed at The Bay and it wont be the last, The cottage was beautiful and had everything we needed, it was very comfortable and nicely set out, well equipped too. The whole experience was hassle free, from booking to leaving.Thank you for sharing your cottage with us.

Lovely base for a great holiday.

High Tide is perfectly located, clean and very well equipped. We stayed as a family of 4. It is a great base for a holiday, whether to simply wander through The Bay to the beach, go into Filey or go further afield (Whitby was a particular favourite). Even the sun shone for us! We will be back.

Fantastic Property!

This was our second visit to The Bay. We enjoyed our first stay, 3 years ago, in a different cottage (despite the weather) but it didnt compare to our stay in High Tide Cottage! It was immaculate and gorgeously decorated. The open living space was comfortable and extremely well equipped- from the cookware and kitchen utensils, to the washing machine, to the smart TV and X Box! The bedrooms were great, plenty of storage space in each, comfortable beds and a hairdryer in each room, too! The bathroom was lovely and clean with a decent pressured shower! The French boules pitch to the back of the property was the icing on the cake for my 6 year old son, who made friend with 2 other children whos holiday cottages also backed on to the pitch. It served as their playground for the week and they all loved having a safe and secure area to play on together. We were fortunate enough with the weather to make use of the outdoor furniture, on a couple of occasions! There were always plenty of spaces in the car park close to the cottage and although its not far from the entrance of the resort, the walk to all the main facilities took all of 5 minutes.From stepping through the front door for the first time, we could tell High Tide Cottage was going to be the perfect base for our little staycation, and we were sorry to leave by the end of the week. We would absolutely love to stay there again!

Clean, quiet and well maintained.

This house was very clean, with decent furniture and kitchen equipment. The kitchen also had a few useful consulables such as dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid and kitchen foil and tea bags-which was really thoughtful . The layout and space in the house were perfect. It was clean and smelled clean, but with no strong cleaning product and chemical smells. Wifi was reliable. The house seemed to be well insulated against sound, which was useful when children were playing football outside. The only thing i could fault was the heating came on in July, which seemed to be excessive. It was a really lovely holiday house, probably the nicest we have ever stayed at. Location- nice location, the pool was basic but clean and was empty one day, then horribly crowded the day after- so variable. Although most people kept dogs on leads, I saw a few dogs running around without leads in gardens/ shared spaces, which meant my son, who is anxious around dogs, couldnt play outside and was worried when we walked along the paths. The place was clean and well kept with easy beach access. The shop had no fresh fruit and veg, but had frozen foods. Really, the dogs off leads was the only issue I had. It was an ideal holiday place.

We are so pleased you enjoyed your stay at High Tide Cottage and that you feel The Bay offered you all you needed for an enjoyable family holiday.Guests who bring dogs with them (we are a pet free cottage) are asked to keep their dogs on a lead (due to the open plan nature of the village), unfortunately some choose to disregard this; which we ourselves find disappointing when we are staying at the cottage.The heating is on a schedule and guests can fully adjust for their own comfort as even some summer evenings can be chilly.We hope to welcome you back to High Tide Cottage in the future as the area has so much to offer whether it be the North Yorkshire coast or moors.

One of the most relaxing holidays i've had in a long while, even though we did lots of things, I loved Filey and definitely will return again and hopefully to anchor bay,.
