Booking.Com Reviews of the property:

Exceptional - The location is very good with an excellent restaurant next door. The beach is close by and the little train offers a regular shuttle service into Bridlington. Everything you might need and more is in the house and there is a peaceful and beautifully kept garden where, weather willing, you can relax and watch the rabbits playing on the grass. The house is clean, tastefully appointed and extremely well equipped. Our hosts made us welcome, gave us all the information we might need and were available for help and advice should we have any problems.

Beautiful accommodation in a fantastic location. Lots of attention to detail. Very comfortable beds and lots of bathrooms. Sitting rooms, especially the library were gorgeous.

David and Wendy's retreat is an absolute gem! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a fantastic welcome gift that set the tone for an exceptional stay. Every detail was impeccably catered for, and the house was spotlessly clean, making it feel like a true home away from home. The peaceful surroundings ensured a restful escape, and the large parking area added great convenience. The beautiful garden was a highlight, providing a tranquil setting to relax, and the use of the hot tub was the perfect way to unwind. David and Wendy have created a space that is not only stunning but also incredibly comfortable and inviting. We can't recommend their retreat highly enough and look forward to visiting again.

Lovely quiet area with sea view, large garden and stunning house. The rooms were well furnished, and comfy and clean, plus a nice welcome pack. We enjoyed the hot tub and the large garden - great to have different price bands depending on how many bedrooms were used as we wouldn't normally be able to afford this size of house. A few minutes walk from Sewerby Hall and the cliff top path to Bridlington, really enjoyed our break.

Fantastic location in quiet neighbourhood. Easy access to the clifftop walk into Bridlington and to Sewerby House and gardens. Outdoor and indoor sofas were very comfortable. Really enjoyed the strawberries and cream left for us by the owners on arrival. Hosts were great at keeping in touch and responding to queries. We would stay again!
