Description
The Sandpiper is located in a quiet area of The Bay which is really near the beach path, Cleveland Way and the village pub / pool. This is one of the largest 2 bedroom properties on The Bay and offers luxury spacious accommodation.
Enter through the step free doorway into a generously proportioned hallway with cloakroom. Walk into the 'L' shaped open plan living, dining and kitchen area with sofas for 6 and SMART TV with stunning bi-fold doors across the rear of the property to a private furnished patio, ideal for outside relaxing with seating for 6 with lawned area In the dining area there is a dining table for 6 which leads into a modern fully equipped kitchen including a 2 fridge freezers, dishwasher, washer-dryer, 2 microwaves as well as an electric food steamer, slow cooker and Tassimo Coffee Machine (bring your own pods).
Upstairs the master bedroom includes a king-size bed, SMART TV and luxury En-suite with rainfall shower. The second family bedroom features a double bed with single bunk above and SMART TV. There is also a large family bathroom with bath and overhead rainfall shower.

This property is part of The Bay Holiday Village and all bookings gain direct beach access, unlimited use of The Bay Filey Indoor Pool, Baby Pool, Sauna, Steam Room and Gym. Some amenities are chargeable locally like food and drink, tennis and any activities operated by Away Resorts such as Archery and Crafts.

ABH 5/5 - 2024 - A Gem of a Place - By far one of the nicest if not the best cottage we have stayed in at The Bay Resort, The cottage is very spacious ,with the most perfect design ,layout and choice of decor. A lot of thought has been put into the contents ,from kitchen crockery & utensils to individual room furnishings,with additional extras to ensure a home from home experience. Both bedrooms have their own en-suite which was a plus, and my grandchildren loved the adult sized bunk bed.All the beds were so comfy. The location is perfect for access to resort facilities and the path to the lovely beach. ABH 5/5 - 2025 - A dream stay at The Bay Filey - We have just returned from a brilliant 5 night stay at the Bay Filey. This is our 4th time staying here but first time staying at The Sandpiper. It is the BEST accommodation we have stayed in by far. Location was excellent. Central to everything you could possibly need and every facility that is on offer and only a short 10 minute walk down to the beach. The house is brilliantly equipped with everything you could possibly need. Beds were so comfy and provided a great night's sleep after busy days. Loads of little extras which were great whether it was the board games, books or the little extras in the kitchen. Could not fault the stay, so much so we even asked if it would be possible to book an extra night. Already planning a return stay!

Review - 5/5 - "Stayed for 3 nights 3-6/1/24, Terraced Cottage/house immaculate throughout - looked like a show home and had everything you needed and more for a self catering holiday. Good location on the Bay for the activites and the beach. Good location for days out along the Yorkshire coast. Would definitely recommend and stay here again. Thank you"

Review - 5 Starts! What a gem!!! We had a really wonderful weekend in this fabulous cottage. The owners have decorated the cottage beautifully and to a high standard. A well appointed cottage with everything you could need, the games were a lovely touch. Perfect for couples and families. Super comfy beds, lots of seating and a wonderful sunny patio area - perfect for lazy Sunday morning coffees. The cottage is located in on of the best locations on the site, very quiet, close to the short walk Uk the beach, close the the gym, pool and site pub. We had a great meal at The Piebald Inn in Hunmanby and at the Lobster Pot in Bridlington. The site pub was great for an evening pint and did lovely hot chocolates which were perfect after a walk along the beach. Filey is a great location for exploring the East coast and we will definitely be booking this fabulous cottage again! Thanks for a great weekend.
