Description
May’s Cottage is the perfect choice if you’re looking to escape for a while with your special someone.
The cosy holiday cottage has an open plan lounge, kitchen and dining area with stairs that lead to the first floor.
There’s a comfy two-seater sofa and a plush armchair to snuggle up on in the evenings.
You’ll be able to choose a movie to watch or catch up on your favourite box set with the 42-inch smart TV which has NETFLIX and Free Sat.
The kitchen area has built-in appliances, including a hob and oven, washing machine, microwave, kettle and coffee machine. Plus you’ll find all the cutlery, crockery, glassware, pots, pans and utensils you’ll need for your self-catering holiday by the coast. There’s also a dining table for two.
Upstairs is the large double-aspect bedroom with a NEW en-suite shower room. The beds will be made up with quality linen all ready for your arrival.
Towels and toiletries are also provided.

We send comprehensive arrival information after you book and 3 weeks, 1 week and 1 day prior to arrival (by email and SMS). These messages include links to a complimentary “Touchstay” digital guidebook which includes property specific details and important information which you will need whilst on holiday.
We also include in our messaging how to access the property (typically a key-safe), directions, parking information as well as information about the local area, beaches and tide times.
For most properties options of an early check in / late check out are available but these are subject to availability (ie not last minute and at peak times). These options are a chargeable extra and can be purchased when you place a booking or added nearer to your stay via our guest management area. In order to avoid disappointment early check in / late check outs can only be facilitated via these extra options and if they don’t appear during the booking process are not available for this property.

The location was perfect for our list of to do’s. The bed was SUPER comfy. Sofa was comfortable. Appliances easy to use and all we needed and clean. Cottage was clean. Pretty courtyard and quiet even by well used road. On a bus route. Sewerby hall and even Bridlington sea front promenade was within walking distance. The Landtrain goes from Sewerby hall to Bridlington amusements and back. Flamborough head and Bempton cliffs within 15 minutes drive to view birds and seals- a must. Lots of walking trails nearby. Big name Supermarkets all within 15 minutes drive. Nice train journey to Scarborough and reasonable price.
