Gather round for tales from our spooky storytellers, take part in ghastly games and be inspired to create your very own tale of terror just like Bram Stoker did with Dracula. Sledmere House: Halloween Experience

Spooky Barn: Halloween Adventure! – Daily from Saturday 24th October to Saturday 31st October 2026

Calling all witches and wizards! Join us for our Spooky Barn: Halloween Adventure this October Half Term!

There is something amiss at the Wizards’ Gathering this year at Sledmere! With signs of marauding magical beasts and strange ghostly incursions in the Spooky Barn, it would appear that enchantments keeping the nether world at bay have lost their power! Fear not, as legendary spell-casters return to harness the power of willing audiences to save Sledmere from unearthly creatures this Halloween!

Come and enjoy a fun and family-friendly Halloween walk-through experience with performers, magical animal encounters, and activities! Don’t forget to follow the trail down to the Walled Garden to take part in our petrifying pumpkin hunt!

(Please note: the Spooky Barn closes early on Saturday 24th October for the Sledmere Musical Spectacular Fireworks display).
