Welcome to Fudges Den - A lovely cottage - really close to The Bay Filey holiday village centre - metres from the pub yet quiet and with a large garden and patio and access to the Cleveland Way this is an ideal choice for a family escape!
Enter into a spacious hallway, with space for your coats and shoes. Ahead to the right is a large kitchen diner / lounge with all the appliances you’ll expect for a self-catering break. There is an excellent dining space in the kitchen, with extended dining table seating 6 with french doors to the patio, and 2 large comfortable sofas. Across the hall there is a WC.
Free unlimited fast wifi throughout.
Upstairs, you will find three double bedrooms with the master having a shower room ensuite. There is also a very spacious family bathroom with bath and shower over.
Fudge's Den is a large pet friendly house and is ideal for a large family with space for 2 doggies!

Some amenities are chargeable locally like food and drink, tennis and any activities operated by Away Resorts such as Archery and Crafts.

Perfect Family Property

Our family of four stayed at Fudges Den end of July for our summer holiday and could not have chosen a more perfect property. The cottage is located in the ideal location close to all amenities and a short walk to the path which leads down to the beach. The property has everything you need for a long or short stay with plenty of kitchen utensils and cutlery which made cooking like you were at home. There was so much room that we never got under each others feet and the kids (and myself) loved the lounge area with the big rotating chair. We wouldnt hesitate in booking Fudges Den again for our next family holiday.

A long weekend break in Fudges Den on The Bay

The property is extremely well equipped throughout. In an excellent location on The Bay The beautiful beach is only only a short walk away giving the the option to walk to Filey. We will be back !!!

Quality accommodation on a nice clean park in a good location.

The accommodation was in good condition, spacious and well equipped overall. There is plenty of seating for any sized party and even had sky sports provided. It has close proximity to the viking way, easy access to the beach and just a short drive from Filey. There were just a couple of extra small things I thought could have been provided. I would have liked a hand towel and also a fish slice in the kitchen and some hand soap in the downstairs loo. Apart from these minor points I was very happy with the standard of the property and would definitely book again.

Ticked all our 'must haves'...

There're a few things we like on our holiday.A least 2 double rooms - lots of houses have a twin second but we are a party of adults and want everyone to have a double. This house is brilliant as it has 3 doubles, each with ample storageA full fridge freezer - for easy access and more space than under counter ones. We cook a lot so it's great - the kitchen is also well equippedA good dining table - such a good and comfortable table at Fudges Den. We had many a great meal and games evenings - there is a huge supply of games so save yourself boot space bringing any. Walking distance to public transport and the pub - The house is in a perfect location to the beaches and bus routes. The gate behind takes you on a super walk to Humanby and Filey beach. It's a super walk along the beach to the town. The house is also brilliantly located for local buses to Bridlington and Scarborough. We ditched the car on arrival and only used it once to get to whitby. Efficient service from AnchorBay holidays too - great guides, minimal fuss, felt I knew they would be there if we ever needed them. A very grown up approach. Only downside we found was eating out - we struggled to find pubs /restaurants with availability where the menu was not mainly fried food. Would recommend researching and booking well in advance.
